Terms and Conditions

You must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Indian driving licence to rent a vehicle from Skanda Cars. You agree to provide accurate personal information during registration and booking, including your name, mobile number, and identity documents when requested.

Login verification may be sent via WhatsApp OTP to the mobile number you provide. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and OTP confidential.

A booking request submitted through our website is subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by Skanda Cars. A booking is considered confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from us (via website, SMS, WhatsApp, or email).

• Pick-up and drop-off dates, times, and locations must match your booking.
• Vehicle model shown online may be substituted with an equivalent category if the selected car is unavailable — we will inform you before handover.
• Extensions are subject to availability and must be approved in advance.

Rental rates, security deposits, fuel policy, kilometre limits (if any), and applicable taxes are displayed at the time of booking or communicated before confirmation. You agree to pay the full rental amount and any authorised additional charges.

• Security deposit may be collected before or at vehicle handover and refunded after inspection, minus deductions for damage, fines, or extra charges.
• Late returns, excess mileage, fuel shortage, tolls, parking fees, and traffic violations are payable by the renter unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise.

At pick-up, you must inspect the vehicle with our representative and report any existing damage before driving. The vehicle must be returned at the agreed time, location, and in substantially the same condition, subject to normal wear and tear.

• Return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at handover unless a prepaid fuel option was selected.
• Smoking, illegal substances, and unauthorised drivers are strictly prohibited.
• The vehicle must not be used for racing, off-road driving beyond permitted use, or any unlawful activity.

Insurance coverage, deductibles, and renter liability for accidents or damage will be explained at booking or handover. You are responsible for all damage, loss, or theft occurring during the rental period where you are at fault or where insurance does not cover the loss.

Skanda Cars is not liable for personal injury, loss of belongings, indirect losses, or delays caused by traffic, mechanical failure, or events beyond our reasonable control, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

You are solely responsible for all traffic violations, challans, toll evasion, and parking penalties incurred during your rental. We may charge your security deposit or invoice you for fines received after return if they relate to your rental period.

Cancellation and refund terms depend on how far in advance you cancel and whether the vehicle has been reserved exclusively for you. Specific cancellation windows and refund percentages will be communicated at the time of booking.

• No-shows without prior notice may forfeit the booking amount.
• Refunds, when applicable, are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period.
• Skanda Cars may cancel a booking due to unavailability, safety concerns, or suspected fraud, with a full refund of amounts paid for the unavailable service.

You may not sublease, sell, or pledge the vehicle. The vehicle must remain within the permitted geographic area agreed at booking unless written approval is obtained. Use under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden and may void insurance coverage and result in immediate termination of the rental.

We strive to keep our website and booking systems available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update vehicle listings, pricing, and features without prior notice. Content on the site is for general information and does not constitute a binding offer until booking is confirmed.

All content on this website — including logos, text, images, and design — is owned by Skanda Cars or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written permission.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from your use of our services, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
